Honors Thesis: "Colorism in Cambodia: Race, Indigeneity, and the Ambivalence of Pride and Shame" (Sept 2019 – Jun 2023)

In August 2022, recruited interviewees by purposeful homogeneous sampling from the villages in the vicinity of Angkor Wat: namely Nokor Krau, Brasat Bakong, Krong Siem Reap, and Kompong Phluk

Thoroughly interviewed these 26 indigenous Khmer Angkor individuals and families, majority women and children, on their life experiences with colorism for an average of 3 hours each

Practiced highly emotionally attuned, politically sensitive, trustworthy, and psychologically safe interviewee relations

Following data collection, transcribed, selected, and translated interview transcripts and coded selections using NVIVO
